26th Annual World Congress on Learning Disabilities, Chania, Crete, Greece

The Turbulent Times: Confronting Challenges, in Emerging Adulthood. New, Creative and Innovative Ideas

To submit a presentation, e-poster session and or paper for “The Turbulent Times: Confronting Challenges in Emerging Adulthood. New Creative and Innovative Ideas” please follow the guidelines in this announcement. We will publish a volume of proceedings from the 26th Annual World Congress on Learning Disabilities as well. This compilation of works will involve the best practice and/or research presentations and the works will go through a review process prior to being included in the proceedings. Please note that you do not need to be present at the conference to submit an e-poster presentation and/or a paper; however, you do need to register for at least one day of the conference for consideration.

*If you are planning to stay near the conference site, we will provide you a list of hotels for you to choose from when your proposal has been accepted. The hotels will offer you the LDW World Congress special rate.

The Conference Committee invites you to submit abstracts for presentations as papers, symposia, and/or posters. There is no limit to the number of presentations submitted by a single author or team of authors.

Abstracts for the research symposia must be submitted electronically. We strongly encourage you to submit your abstract in PDF.

​*The Annual World Congress is now offered online also, to meet the needs of participants around the world. In the event of an act of GOD, terrorism, natural disaster, or any other unforeseen disaster that may inhibit conference proceedings, the conference will be presented online. All conference fees and payments are final and nonrefundable.

Online Presentation only: $250
To present Poster or Presentation:
Attend Conference 1 day:  member – $250   non-member – $275
Attend Conference 2 day:  member – $350   non-member – $375

​*Beverages and food will not be offered at the conference. All attendees will be responsible for their own beverages, snacks, and meals.

Deadlines
May 1, 2018:  Deadline for Symposia, papers, and e-posters.
July 1, 2018: Deadline for e-poster PPT submissions.
July 8, 2018: Deadline to register for conference for discounted rate. Note: All presenters must register for the conference. Failure to register for the conference will result in your registration being removed from the program.
August 8, 2018: Deadline to register for conference.
September 30, 2018: Papers due for publication in conference proceedings.

*Please be prepared to present either Friday or Saturday.

*The conference will be held at The Mediterranean Architecture Center (KAM) Katechaki and Akti Tompazi 31, Chania 73131. Please speak with your travel agency for hotel and accommodation needs.
